Cancer New Moon June 25th, 2025

Welcome to summer, Cancer season, and the Cancer New Moon! Cancer energy represents the energy of our emotional world, home, family, comfort, security, and our subconscious world. Cancer is ruled by the moon....which can light up completely and give us clarity of sight in the darkness, but also goes through periods of being completely hidden, leaving us to rely on our own intuition.

New Moons are times when all is dark and although that can seem scary and intimidating, those are the times when our creative potential is at it's fullest. "There is nothing to fear in the darkness except the awakening of your own power.". This is why new moons are times for manifesting and setting intentions for what you want to experience, receive, and create within your life. Because this new moon is in the sign of Cancer, most of the energy will be directed towards matters of the heart, love, family, and emotional fulfilment. The sign of Cancer is also associated with the mother and so this is an ideal time to set intentions to focus on what needs healing and nurturing in your life.

This next week is a good time to reflect on what you want to see grow in your life (especially things connected to home, family, and relationships). We nurture with our emotions, whether we are expressing and sharing these emotions or not...the feelings that we nurture and the situations we direct those feelings to (or blame those feelings on) is what we will nurture, grow, and invite more of in our lives. If you consistently feel a sense of loss, sadness, or despair it is likely that you wont see a lot of good things growing or showing up in your life because what you are nurturing is an energy of lack. The best and quickest way to manifest anything into your life is to embrace and embody the feeling of what it is you desire....so if you want to manifest love, you have to be able to feel love within yourself and for life. We can't manifest feelings....the feelings are part of us. And unfortunately we cannot manifest something in hopes of filling ourselves up with positive emotions or feelings, because our emotions are what attract and nurture the manifestation.

So when you think of what you want to manifest for this new moon, take a moment to think of what you feelings you believe manifesting what you desire will bring. If you are looking to feel a sense of freedom with your manifestations, then spend time connecting to and nurturing everything in your current reality that embodies that feeling (no matter how small). If what you want to manifest is something you feel will give you a sense of security, then take time to do things in your current reality that help you to feel more secure.

Jupiter is also currently in the sign of Cancer and Jupiter is the planet of growth, abundance, luck, and faith. What that means is the more that you can embrace the high vibration energy of Cancer, the more luck, growth, and abundance you will receive! So get in touch with your feelings and emotional world. I know we hate having to deal with feelings all the time lol.....but it will be worth it to explore the depths of your emotional world over the next few weeks.
