It's Leo Season!! Ready for your Glow-Up?

Welcome to the new week and the official start of Leo season!! Leo season is kind of a big deal because, well let's face it, Leos are kind of a big deal! Leo represents the energy of the sun which brings warmth, success, and a fun-loving energy, but also the energy that represents light and exposure. Leo season asks us to examine how we are truly showing up in the world and exposes the ego masks we all hide our insecurities with. Leo asks for authentic self expression and not just with the words we use, but how we carry ourselves. This Leo season is asking you to examine how authentically you are really showing up in the world.

The life you are living is a reflection of your energy. If your life is chaotic, that is a reflection of chaos circling within you. People are responding and reacting to you based on your energy....not just the words you say, the image you portray, or the actions you take...but your entire energy (your emotional energy, your shadow energy...all of it). You can state all day long that you are happy and positive and love life, but if inside you feel drained, tired, or depressed, then your energy comes across as inauthentic. If internally you feel as if no one understands you, then that is how people will respond to you....because that is the energetic frequency you are sending out. Your energy will speak for you before you even open your mouth...and that is true now than ever because words get used for manipulation so much that no one trusts anything that is said. So it is safe to say, that if you want a life that is authentic to you or that matches the life you actually desire, you have to be willing to expose every aspect of yourself to the light.

Im sure that all seems drastic....but let me explain. Whatever is hiding in the darkness is only hiding....it's not gone, it's just not seen. But it's energy...it's still there and it still has an effect. You can shove down and avoid feelings all you want, but that doesn't make them go away...it just forces them to fester and ruminate and build up until you ultimately crash out. And that goes for hiding or avoiding anything...fears, responsibilities, confrontation...etc. Those things we hide behind, avoid, or refuse to see are still in our energy and affecting everything that we experience and the cycles in our relationships. So again.....if you want a life more authentic to what you really want and desire, you have to be willing to be honest with yourself and look at the energy that sits in the dark.

Not to fear....Leo season promises to help expose all of this for you lol. We are currently in Mercury Leo Retrograde (which asks us to examine if we are truly expressing ourselves or expressing what we want others to validate in us). This will bring up things that trigger our self confidence and our pride but it is all for the purpose to get us to slow down and ask us what we are scared of. People aren't intentionally triggering you right now for shits and giggles....it's triggers that are exposing your wounds/vulnerabilities so you know where you need to put extra focus on.

Leo season also brings in a huge heart chakra activation. This energy encourages us to live boldly from our hearts. To not be scared to express not only love for others, but love for ourselves. It is energy that makes you want to pursue love and express your hearts desires, but also brings up every sensitivity and fear around doing that. The triggers, fears, insecurities...they are not to run from because they wont go away even if you get everything you want. When you notice those insecurities, or the desire to hide, or even the feeling of not being seen, know that it's there for you to nurture and have compassion for. When you feel the gut punch to your ego, remember that's just your wounded inner child wanting a little extra compassion.

If you want to be seen, loved, understood, and enjoy the warmth of happiness and success it's all yours....you just have to start by being willing to really look at every aspect of yourself and love all of it.
