Lion's Gate Portal 8/8

Are you ready for some excitement? We are now entering the energy of what is known as the Lion's Gate portal on August 8th and while the name might sound a little crazy or confusing...It is one of the most powerful times of the year and an energy that promises to bring in powerful changes and abundance. Let's look at what exactly all this energy is and how you can use it to your benefit.

The Lion's Gate portal is a time each year when the star Sirius (the brightest star in the sky) moves closer to earth and aligns with the constellation of Orion's belt. This energy is said to bring in a stronger connection to the spiritual world and a higher power, thus making it a strong energy to tap into our intuition and feel a connection to something bigger than ourselves.

This also occurs during Leo season. Leo is ruled by the sun making the energy that much stronger. Leo is all about following your heart, embracing courage and being confident in standing in your truth and power. This energy is really powerful for manifesting our desires and putting us on a path to our own greatness. The New moon in Leo happens to also fall on 8/8 this year making it an extremely powerful time for setting intentions.

The date 8/8 is probably the most significant energies during this time. In numerology, 8 is the number of infinite abundance, power, manifestation, love and prosperity. It represents the energy flow between what we give and receive and the energy flow between the physical and spiritual world. Think of the phrase "As above, so below"....that is the essence of the energy over the next couple of weeks. If you can dream it, you can manifest it.

This energy will be felt for a two week period between July 28th-August 12th...the most powerful energy being on the 8th. During this time your heart, third eye and solar plexus chakras will be activated and opening up. This might initially feel uncomfortable if you have any unbalances in these chakras, so make sure you are taking time to meditate and work on these chakras specifically. This time will bring in an accelerated growth and transformation period and so its important to be willing to release anything that is blocking you from what you desire in your life. Any limiting beliefs and fears surrounding money, love and abundance will be intensified during this time, so it is important to address and work on releasing these fears. The universe is a source of infinite abundance available to all who are open to receive it.

This is a time where we are more connected to a higher power, so take time to pray and meditate. If you are struggling with releasing fears, praying for healing, guidance or anything else you need, will always help. Take time to write down your intentions and desires and be open for miraculous opportunities over the next couple of weeks.
